Established in 1979 by chef proprietor, Henri Hourquet, who trained and worked in some of the top restaurants in france and london, his aim was to create an informal eaterie where customers can relax and enjoy the food. |

Occasionally we get asked, “why is a French restaurant serving hamburgers”? our reply is that steak haché, a very popular dish in france, is no different other than it is served without a bap. Our hamburgers are homemade using only quality prime meat, which is minced by us and prepared to our own recipe. our burgers are so delicious that everybody wants to know the recipe, including our american customers. All our desserts are homemade – second helpings are a popular feature. With so much controversy over food these days, we firmly believe a restaurant should serve fresh food, cooked to order with out the use of a microwave. we are also against serving gm food.
